Crystal Flores, LPC Associate, NCC

I chose to become a mental health professional because I myself have had many life experiences that have required me to pivot when things just weren’t working. So I get it and I’ve put in the work to make the changes I needed to in order to have a more fruitful life! I will serve you with the utmost professionalism, genuineness, sincerity, and respect. So let me ask you. Do you often find yourself struggling with the weight of the world on your shoulders? Are you at a crossroads and unsure where to turn? Are you struggling in a relationship and unsure how to communicate with your partner? If so, together we can work to alleviate some of your concerns. Mainly I take a solutions focused approach in my practice, and as an avid Jungian I’ll help you understand and work through past events, traumas, triggers, and childhood experiences. Through a psychodynamic lense we will work together to uncover some beliefs and truths that may have been caged in the dark. In my work I serve as a guiding light to help others bring awareness to their shadows. I help those in matters of relationships, life transitions, trauma, and vocational challenges, but I am open to helping with any and all of life’s turning points.
I work with my clients to revitalize their journey and help them tell the story they want to tell. I’ve found that as humans we seek connection and belonging in this world and as a practice I strive to live each day to the fullest. So yes, there will be a hint of existentialism involved if you choose to work with me. With that said, I also am a strong believer in building a great community, so if I cannot help you I’ll work to find someone who can. Over time you’ll get to know about me and I’ll work to help you get to know yourself better.
I am an alumna of Northwestern University’s Master of Arts Counseling Program and received my Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in American Studies. I am all about goals and making the most of my existence here, so I am currently in the process of applying to Doctor of Psychology programs so that I can better assist my clients as well as bridge my main areas of interest which include but not limited to: music, art therapy, and human performance in session. I am also looking forward to obtaining certification in Art Therapy and Sex Therapy over time.
I look forward to navigating through uncharted territories together and look forward to seeing you in session!
Accepting new clients both couples and individuals.
